Hoi allemaal,



Hi all,

 

Na bijna vier weken op het Noorder Eiland te hebben doorgebracht werd het tijd om de veerboot naar het Zuider Eiland te pakken. Dat is een tocht van zo'n drie uur en een heel stuk daarvan gaat tussen de bergen bij het Zuider Eiland door om bij de haven van Picton te komen. En wat was dat stuk mooooi! We hebben een (kleine!) selectie gemaakt van alle foto's die we genomen hebben:

After travelling the North Island for almost four weeks it was time to cross over to the South Island. That takes you about three hours, about half the time travelling amongst the fjords to get to the harbour of Picton. And that was GORGEOUS! Below a (small) selection of all the pictures made:

Het was een prachtige overtocht met voor de verandering alweer prachtig weer. Helaas geen dolfijnen of zo onderweg gezien, maar je kan ook niet alles hebben....
It was a beautiful crossing with again great weather. We didn't see any dolphins on the way, but hey, you can't have it all, now can you?
